If either partner
1. is actively involved in an outside relationship, which they aren't willing to leave or
2. has already decided to end the partnership or
3. have an active substance abuse or mental health concerns, which is not treated,
therapy may not yield the desired results. A shared commitment is essential for meaningful progress in couples therapy.

Our Approach
Our approach to couples therapy is primarily based on Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), a well-researched method for helping couples strengthen their emotional bonds. We also incorporate an eclectic mix of therapeutic techniques tailored to meet each couple’s unique needs, ensuring that our process is both effective and adaptable.

Key Components of Our Therapy Sessions
Each session includes components designed to support and guide you both through the process of reconnecting and resolving issues. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
​
1. Initial 2 to 4 sessions will be evaluative in nature trying to understand the couple and individual dynamics in the relationship, usually these sessions are also insightful for the couples as well. These sessions can also we kept closer like weekly 2 sessions taking around 2 weeks to complete.
2. We later work on de-escalating and stabilizing the issues in relationship
3. In this phase we work on connecting and communicating in the relationship.
4. And finally at this stage we work on consolidating the gain from the sessions

Couples therapy typically requires a commitment of around 12 to 20 sessions. It's important that both partners are fully invested in the process and prioritize time for regular sessions with a weekly frequency initially. Like any form of therapy, there are no guaranteed outcomes. However, many couples find that their relationship improves significantly through the therapeutic process, as long as both individuals are committed to making positive changes.​​​
